The university openly discriminates against foreigners, if you’re applying for a PhD, just know italians will score better than you even if your application, research proposal and interview is significantly better than that of your competitors. this is obvious as the interviews are public, so you can clearly see how well you do relative to others.

Don’t waste your time applying for a PhD position if you’re competing against an Italian (of course you can’t know this in advance so it’s a gamble)
