Politecnico di Torino is a prestigious institution with high quality and top notch teaching faculties. The best part of PoliTo is that their courses are designed to provide thorough and deep learning to students
Who want to excel in the field of
Engineering. Oral Exams are thus the key to success at PoliTo making learning necessary to succeed. Social barriers still hang due to the language and hence developing social skills is difficult in such an environment.
Politecnico di Torino is a traditional, historical university focused on the fields of engineering, architecture and design. Most buildings and facilities are 50+ years old, but still in good overall condition and with modern equipment. There are more than 20,000 students but overcrowding is usually a problem only on 1st year. Teaching is generally good with some highs and lows. The organisation of my course, civil engineering, is relatively worse than others due to excessive and unbalanced workload throughout the three years. It would be great to have more food facilities (bars, vending machines, rooms to microwave your own food and eat).
