Engineering. Oral Exams are thus the key to success at PoliTo making learning necessary to succeed. Social barriers still hang due to the language and hence developing social skills is difficult in such an environment.

I really like the university because of its environment and it prepares all the things such as references and tools that students might need and also I like the field I am studying in polito because it is covering just the necessary information and not bombarding students in comparison with other universities which offer this program. I think it is very important especially in the field of climate change which I am studying since it is quite new.

Politecnico di Torino is a traditional, historical university focused on the fields of engineering, architecture and design. Most buildings and facilities are 50+ years old, but still in good overall condition and with modern equipment. There are more than 20,000 students but overcrowding is usually a problem only on 1st year. Teaching is generally good with some highs and lows. The organisation of my course, civil engineering, is relatively worse than others due to excessive and unbalanced workload throughout the three years. It would be great to have more food facilities (bars, vending machines, rooms to microwave your own food and eat).
