I attended the degree course in economics and business at the University of Pisa.
The variety of courses offered allows students to personalize their study path based on their inclinations and interests.
However, the teaching method needs to be reviewed, lessons are often too theoretical and not very stimulating.
The infrastructure is old and requires more maintenance.

I finished my business studies course in 2022 and I honestly think it is a university that needs updating. Both from an infrastructure point of view: when it rains water comes in through the roof, the benches are small and old; both from the point of view of the professors. it is a very old university with a prestigious history which, however, in my opinion needs to keep up with the times more. The subjects are treated too theoretically and in a boring way and everything is based on frontal learning and purely based on the final grade in the exam. The courses of study (at least in economics) are few and those of the master’s degree even fewer.

Being admitted into the Master of Science in Economics (MSE) at the University of Pisa has been a really great privilege for me, immersing myself in the interdisciplinary nature of this field alongside the esteemed Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna. I am particularly grateful for the enriching experience provided by the Erasmus program, allowing me to gain valuable real-world exposure across various parts of Europe. The University of Pisa is more than an academic institution; it is truly a transformative adventure.

They could do much better in everything both at an organizational level that the accommodation and the canteen were a disaster, as with student activities. Except for the radio, there were no great things, in short, I was not very happy…

I attended the Accounting and Management school from 2014 to 2017. It was my bachelor’s degree. The subjects that you will find in are Civil Law, Public Law, Accounting and Marketing. There are both positive and negative aspects. The positive aspects are: first of all the city, because Pisa is a University city so the student-life is enjoyable and fun. Another positive aspect is that the professors are qualified and professional. The negatives are lack of internationality because most of the students are Italian, and the facilities are old and uncomfortable. Nevertheless, I would sincerely recommend you this University.

I think the University of Pisa guarantees a 360 ° educational experience, from learning during lessons to the possibility of exploiting classrooms in the company of other students. The characteristic that distinguishes the University of Pisa is the city itself, comfortable and flat as it is, it gives you the opportunity to move on foot reaching every small part of the city. Pisa is also a very popular destination for Erasmus students, making it a place where different cultures interact with each other and give life to unique experiences for those who experience them.
