To be honest, choosing the Italian Institute of Photography was probably the best decision I could make for my future. My experience there has been entirely positive right from the start, mostly because it felt like a non-stop, fully immersive journey. Photography can get exhausting when you study it full-time, but I genuinely never got tired of going to classes, and honestly, I never encountered a single major issue with the staff or the facilities. What I loved the most was how they balance the everyday chaos of creative work with actual structure. The teachers aren’t just reading from textbooks; they are working professionals who know exactly how the current market operates. Having access to modern labs and proper studio gear means you spend less time guessing and more time doing hands-on practice. The atmosphere around campus is super collaborative, which makes a huge difference when you are trying to find your own style. Every project felt less like an exam and more like an opportunity to experiment and build something real for my portfolio. If you want to turn a basic passion for taking photos into an actual, lasting career, this place gives you the exact tools to make it happen.

Istituto Italiano Fotografia is a university located in Milan, Italy, the capital of fashion. This is a professional university for everyone who wants to study photography. I didn’t like the fact that it costs a lot and besides that doesn’t offer the necessary equipment that a photographer needs.
