As an international student pursuing Medicine and Surgery at the University of Catania (UNICT), I am genuinely impressed by my experience here. I enrolled in medicine after 3 years of a bachelor’s degree in biology and a master’s degree in health biology. this is because to work with my previous degree I would have had to do another 5 years of unpaid study … at this point I did medicine directly so then I’m sure I’ll have a job

I studied medicine for 6 years and I fell in love with general surgery thanks to a very helpful professor who helped me with my internship and my thesis by treating me like a daughter. I still feel it today

I studied medicine here after a year of pharmaceutical chemistry because I didn’t get in right away. she was very tough, they say you don’t study in the south but I want to see if they can pass our exams without studying!

Good overall, the organizational structure should be improved. Practical training quality changes drastically from ward to ward. The courses are well rounded, but many courses lack deepening the practical side.
