Attendance and active participation matter immensely. If you can commit to physically attending classes on a regular basis, keeping up with assignments, and delivering presentations, then you will do well here.
Every single subject requires both an oral exam and a written exam, which means being present in every lecture is crucial to understanding the material and succeeding. It is highly demanding, but definitely worth it if you are dedicated to your studies.
