The Histology course is a highlight for me. It’s thorough, and the lab is equipped with great facilities, making it a great hands-on learning experience. The university is globally recognized, which adds a lot of value to our education.
The hospital connected to the university is also well-known and provides excellent practical learning opportunities. I think that the University of Bologna is one of the best Italian universities and one of the most important academic centers in Europe. Being the oldest university of the occidental world, more than 900 years of experience have certainly served to let it offer excellence in a lot of different fields. It is furthermore able to fully interweave tradition and modernity. In my opinion as a student, the professors are quite competent and have the ability to transmit their passion for the subject. It also offers a lot of facilities such as financial aid for the students that cannot afford to pay for rent and tax. The conditions of the student dormitories are quite good, the city is well connected to the faculties, warm and hospitable. Bologna is a multicultural city, full of students from the entire world, which makes the city dynamic and exciting. I am really happy to have had the ability to study at this university.
