I am Giuditta Ferrari, enrolled for a Master’s degree in communication and publishing. I am expecting from this experience to know new people and challenge my skills. I marked bologna University high because it is an inspiring environment that offers a lot of events and opportunities.
View moreI personally think UNIBO is, overall, a good university. If you’re a student who likes to get educated and to study a lot, this place is totally for you. Teachers are very responsible and it’s obvious they love their job, although I’d prefer some of them to be more comprehensive about the lot of work we have to get done. Courses are very interesting and there are a lot of them, so you won’t be forced to choose between a few courses. The only thing I’d want to be different is the economic issue: the city is a bit expensive and rents are really exaggerated, hopefully, UNIBO helps students with this problem.
View moreI am very enthusiastic about my experience at Unibo! I attended a two-year-long master’s degree in Italian Studies (plus one year to write my thesis) and it was amazing! I met professors who were not only interested in you as a student, but also as a person, and it is extremely important for the quality of your learning process. The tipical Italian way of teaching (seminars with little use of essays) is here not a handicap, but a plus, because it helps you go deep into the dynamics of literature and its connections with the present life and the daily routine we all have to face. Moreover, services Bologna offers to young students and the flow you can breathe in the city (1 out of 4 people is a student there!) helps you study with enthusiasm and awareness. I had a blast and I do really think those were the best 3 years of my life!
