The university prides itself on being the sister school to Oxbridge. However, this comparison is lost in its Irish setting. From my knowledge, the academics are not on par with Oxbridge. Within my course they have a very caring academic staff but then again mine is one of the smallest courses at the university (four people) and I know the same cannot be said for the more popular degrees. Where Trinity truly thrives and stands out as a university is in its societies. There is truly something for everyone and in my opinion the university would be lost without them.
