The admission process had an entrance exam followed by a couple of in-person application rounds. In the year 2020, the Covid year, I finished my Bachelors in Education from Pune University (Savitribai Phule Pune University is ranked #1254 in Best Global Universities). The pandemic had just begun, and the entire education system was a mess. The students were terrified and unsure of what to do next. Pune University stepped up, put its students first, and made the transition from traditional to online education seamless.
Classes went offline with proper assistance from the teachers. At least half a million students studied off-campus that year, receiving the same level of education as students in traditional classrooms. The final exam was taken online with an apt login platform that was built in no time to accommodate a plethora of students.
For their swift problem-solving capabilities I would rate Pune University 10/10.
