As a student at the National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK), I cherish the memories of a vibrant academic and social life. The campus is beautifully located by the coastline, offering stunning views and a serene environment for study. The faculty is highly knowledgeable and supportive, often going the extra mile to help students grasp complex concepts.
The variety of clubs and organizations provides numerous opportunities for extracurricular involvement, from technical competitions to cultural events. I particularly enjoyed participating in annual fests, which fostered camaraderie and creativity.
However, some challenges exist. The workload can be intense, leading to stress during exam periods. Additionally, while infrastructure is generally good, certain facilities could benefit from upgrades. Despite these issues, the friendships formed and the skills gained during my time at NITK have been invaluable.

I appreciate the campus facilities, which are well-equipped with modern amenities such as labs, libraries, and sports facilities. However, the presence of international students and teachers is limited, which could enhance diversity and global perspectives. The institute prioritizes employability through industry collaborations and career development programs, ensuring graduates are well-prepared for the job market. Hostel accommodations are decent, though improvements in maintenance and hygiene could be made.
