This place is one of the best places in India for up-and-coming physics students. The department of physics has an extraordinarily diverse research group. From high energy physics to research groups on nonlinear optics. The hostels are good, the first-year student shares their room with 2 other peers and for the final year, they get a single room. There is a restaurant and small shops some of which serve 24 hrs a day. It’s a lively place and a heaven for students studying physics.
