Honestly Speaking, I had an amazing journey in this program. The courses were comprehensive and very much futuristic. The Professors were helpful whenever I needed them in academics and the environment was very student friendly. Besides, the exclusive courses and programs helped me to expand my network with professors of different universities across Europe and USA.

It’s very tough to find a negative aspect of this program , however securing an Internship sometimes a bit hassle. Except that everything is top notch

My experience with the University of Pécs Faculty of Business and Economics in the Business Administration and Management programme was genuinely positive, especially because it didn’t feel like everything was only theory. A lot of the courses were practice-oriented, so you weren’t just memorizing concepts, you were actually using them. Whether it was case work, team tasks, presentations, or smaller projects, the programme pushed us to think in a more “real business” way, which I appreciated a lot.

Another big highlight for me was the community in our cohort. We had a surprisingly strong group dynamic, and it wasn’t just luck. There were systems that actually supported it, like the student representative system, that made communication smoother and gave us a sense that our cohort had a voice, and the International Student Organization (supported by the faculty) also added a lot to the atmosphere. It wasn’t only about events but about creating more connections, collaboration, and honestly just made university life better and more social.

If I had to single out one course that really stood out, it would be Introduction to Entrepreneurship. That class was a real challenge in the best way. We had to build a virtual startup from the ground up, and it wasn’t some simple “pitch an idea and move on” type of project. We had to research and think through everything from finances and business models to app development and other areas that forced us to step outside our comfort zone. It was stressful at times because it demanded a lot, but that’s exactly why it taught us so much. It wasn’t just problem-solving, it gave us practical knowledge and a mindset that feels useful long-term, not only for exams, but for years after university too.

Overall, I’d say the BAM programme at UP FBE (or PTE KTK in Hungarian) is a great choice if you want a mix of structure, real-world application, and a community that makes the whole experience more meaningful.

I think it’s very enriched with very good professors and it’s well designed. Only thing i really hope is in future maybe they can start specializations for the english programs because moving forward for masters can be very easy or if someone wants to work in a specific industry having a specialization helps.
Besides, it makes no sense bringing so many international students with stipendium hungaricum or any program if the rule is to do the internship in only Hungary while hungarian companies do not accept any internationals. It is frustrating as i am looking for internships and none of my target companies are willing to hire us. Let alone target companies even the normal ones aren’t hiring us as well. So either creating and bringing us more opportunities or just drop the rule of doing the mandatory internships in Hungary so we can explore more.
And for double degree program or pannonia scholarship it’s kind of unfair that if someone has a stipendium or diaspora they cannot go for these long term options.
Thirdly, there are so many opportunities and coaching programs in the faculty but only for hungarians. Even the freshman camps, the balls, the parties.
If you really want the internationals feel this place like home these things must be also worked on. Because has happened many times when i wanted to do something but couldn’t just because either I am international or go for programs because i am a stipendium scholarship holder.
I believe in my potentials so these draw backs are really frustrating. Of course i could go for few programs if i was a self paid student but if i could really afford that i wouldn’t come with scholarship.

I like the university, I like the appearance, I like my lecturers and rge general ambience. A lot of people have told me my faculty is really cool.I dislike the fact that we don’t have more diversity efforts on campus. Like there’s not many programs targeting the International community yet it’s quite big and then there’s limited food options around as well.

The University of Pecs offers a variety of programs and a hub of international students. The university is ranked one of the top universities in Hungary. University provides a number of services such as research centers, gyms, swimming pools, medical facilities, etc.

University of Pecs is good university where medical being the top most faculty.. This university provides some scholarships where students can teach during their studies which is a good thing. But i would like to highlight one more thing also, there are some departments which really needs quality professors. I experienced lack of quality education and lack of professionalism. so overall i would mark it as 3 out of 5.

I think Pécs is a great university city, with a lot of programmes always, and very focused on the uni students. The Faculty of Business offers many opportunities to try yourself like the Simonyi Hackathlon and has some great professors like Dr. Zsolt Bedő who deliver very practical classes. The only downside is that one would expect a higher level on the English programme, but unfortunately some professors cannot even hold a class on English.
