Honestly Speaking, I had an amazing journey in this program. The courses were comprehensive and very much futuristic. The Professors were helpful whenever I needed them in academics and the environment was very student friendly. Besides, the exclusive courses and programs helped me to expand my network with professors of different universities across Europe and USA.

It’s very tough to find a negative aspect of this program , however securing an Internship sometimes a bit hassle. Except that everything is top notch

I really enjoyed my time at Pecs! I was able to meet people from all different walk of life, and take all sorts of lessons and experience from this exposure. It was also nice to see a relatively small city like Pecs change so much in the 4 years I was there.

My experience has been very positive. I particularly appreciate the supportive professors, diverse international student community, and the opportunities to develop both academically and personally. It offers a welcoming environment, and I would definitely recommend it to students looking for a quality and international study experience.

I truly love studying in Pécs, I’ve found my place at the Faculty of Business and Economics, not only as a student, but also as a staff member!
I’m thrilled that I can already apply what I learn in the classroom directly to the working world.
What I would definitely highlight about university life is that besides being so much fun (you make lots of friends, meet new people, and have a great time), it is also professionally defining, especially since we get the chance to work on real corporate projects!

I really loved being a student at PTE, every aspect of it was so much fun. Ti highlight some of the beat things at PTE: the teachers are incredibly helpful, many of them really focus on the student’s career, and talent. The student community is also a reflection on how good University it is. You can network a lot while also studying from real life experiences. I am glad that I had the chance to graduate from there. I recommend it to everyone. So much better than universities in Budapest.

My experience at the Faculty of Business and Economics at the University of Pécs was ever-changing. I arrived straight out of high school, not sure what to expect from university life. The teachers and professors helped me through my courses: I could always count on them to explain a theory a hundred times, or to write a recommendation so that I could keep exploring opportunities like the Pannónia Scholarship Programme, which took me to Madrid, where I could compare my education with that of students from all over the world, and I held my own.
The university didn’t stand still while I found my feet, either. When I first arrived, everyone I met had the same story about their high school: it got renovated and improved the moment they graduated. Here, I got to watch that happen in real time. Nearly every semester has brought something new and genuinely better, whether that’s a refreshed cafeteria, better materials for a notoriously tricky subject, or a garden where you can finally sit without getting rained on.
I believe a university can only give you what you’re willing to take from it. I chose to study hard, build real relationships with my professors, take on an additional academic programme alongside my degree, and go abroad, and the university gave me a great deal in return. I’ll admit I didn’t make the most of the social side, but the options are there. Student societies cover every taste, from the sorority and fraternity experience to sports and academic societies, and if nothing fits, you can always start your own club with your best friends. I’ve seen it happen.
The material is challenging but not unmanageable, the teachers genuinely want students to succeed, and the community is diverse, with many nationalities under one roof. Ultimately, it’s a place that rewards the effort you bring to it.

My experience with the University of Pécs Faculty of Business and Economics in the Business Administration and Management programme was genuinely positive, especially because it didn’t feel like everything was only theory. A lot of the courses were practice-oriented, so you weren’t just memorizing concepts, you were actually using them. Whether it was case work, team tasks, presentations, or smaller projects, the programme pushed us to think in a more “real business” way, which I appreciated a lot.

Another big highlight for me was the community in our cohort. We had a surprisingly strong group dynamic, and it wasn’t just luck. There were systems that actually supported it, like the student representative system, that made communication smoother and gave us a sense that our cohort had a voice, and the International Student Organization (supported by the faculty) also added a lot to the atmosphere. It wasn’t only about events but about creating more connections, collaboration, and honestly just made university life better and more social.

If I had to single out one course that really stood out, it would be Introduction to Entrepreneurship. That class was a real challenge in the best way. We had to build a virtual startup from the ground up, and it wasn’t some simple “pitch an idea and move on” type of project. We had to research and think through everything from finances and business models to app development and other areas that forced us to step outside our comfort zone. It was stressful at times because it demanded a lot, but that’s exactly why it taught us so much. It wasn’t just problem-solving, it gave us practical knowledge and a mindset that feels useful long-term, not only for exams, but for years after university too.

Overall, I’d say the BAM programme at UP FBE (or PTE KTK in Hungarian) is a great choice if you want a mix of structure, real-world application, and a community that makes the whole experience more meaningful.

So far, I’ve had a really good experience at the University of Pécs. One of the courses that stuck with me was Business Statistics with Dr. Tiszberger. It was definitely challenging, but she had a way of making complicated mathematical concepts feel much more approachable. Her classes were engaging and genuinely enjoyable, which made a difficult subject much easier to get through.

The University of Pécs has a long history and a strong academic environment, with professors who really know their fields and teach them well. I also have to mention Ms. Judit Takács, the English Program Coordinator. She is incredibly helpful and always willing to support students whenever they need it.

I also really appreciate the effort the university puts into student life. There are plenty of events that bring students from different faculties and backgrounds together, so the experience goes beyond just academics. Oktoberfest was especially fun, and I really like the short mobility programs and the opportunities they give students to travel, meet new people, and experience something different.

Overall, it’s been a challenging but very rewarding experience, both academically and socially.

I loved being part of this university community. It offered countless opportunities to build meaningful connections and learn from fellow students, alumni, and professors.
I would especially like to highlight the practical nature of many courses within my Tourism and Hospitality specialization. We had the opportunity to visit a variety of external venues, which provided valuable insight into how the industry operates in real-life settings. These visits allowed us to learn directly from professionals and gain hands-on experience at places such as wineries, wedding venues, and concert halls.
Overall, it was a highly enriching experience that helped me develop both professionally and personally.

Choosing the University of Pécs as a center of your education, hence choosing a place like Pécs as your place of residence for a portion of your life, already speaks about your character.

My expectation when choosing Pécs as a place where I would pursue my bachelor’s degree after finishing high school was to put myself in a community where there are modern education methods, a competitive atmosphere, and where outstanding performance does not get announced. And after finishing the BAM program, I was assured that I was completely right in what I envisioned.

The University of Pécs, with its programs, professors, and infrastructure (science or sport), is like a Petri dish for young professionals who are taking their first steps in becoming the better versions of themselves. In a place like Pécs, you get the opportunity to develop very close relationships with program coordinators/directors, professors, and, most importantly, people living around you. I would definitely recommend it.
