A great university located at the heart of Budapest next to river Danube. Budapest was a very safe place to be as an international student. The university had a lot of very capable professors, at least in civil engineering that i studied.

It was the university that i attended 30 years ago and it will forever be in my heart. It was a very good university in a very beautiful city with kind and helpful people. The campus eas well organized and the staff was more than capable.

My experience at BME is wonderful, the professors are friendly, and there are no racist people.
The environment helps the student to study very well.
The equipment at the BME helps the students with their thesis and their topics.
I finished my MSc in geotechnical and geology engineering in 2022 and I start my Ph.D. in the same field at the same university.

I am a BSc Civil Engineering student at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. Firstly, my university has a Preparatory program that helps
students who fall short on certain subjects to catch up before starting their first year. Lecturers are genuinely interested in the students understanding course materials. They go the extra mile in organizing consultations and extra classes. There is also a balanced theory and practical style of education which is important in engineering programs.
