Strong university with good career opportunities

BME is the most recognized technical university in Hungary – as this suggests, the expected level of knowledge can be quite high. Most of the teachers are highly skilled experts in their field and enthusiastic to teach. Laboratories are properly equipped, but there are variations – student labs look a bit old sometimes, but if you start working on a project, you are most likely to work with high-tech equipment if that’s required for your research.
The Chemical Engineering BSc is generally theory-oriented, although there are many lab courses. Digitalization is not a strength of the university. Due to the general features of upper education in Hungary, there is little room for designing a study plan, but you can take student projects for credits.
In general, as a BSc it gave me a good starting point to my career and provided me with solid knowledge in a variety of topics.
