Generally speaking, the classes were okay, some of them not really catered to the student’s interests but since its an economy school you have various types of courses over the years. I really enjoyed the marketing, hotel and catering management and language classes with the professors I’ve had.
The reason for it not being good is mostly lies within the system. If you have any requests from the school it takes several emails and administration office visits to get what you need usually pretty last minute.
Before Covid the student life was actually fun, smaller parties every week, bigger ones every other week, some extra programmes but after 2021 it went downhill.
In Hungary I don’t think you can get better options for studying tourism, to be honest, I think the problem is in the Hungarian educational system.
After finishing University I think I have gained a few things, liked some classes but in the future, I want to try out another university programme in a different country.
