I’m not that satisfied with my experience in the ECE department in AUTh university. The department venues for classes and labs are old and not always safe, lab equipment is also old and lacking. No new professors coming in, so we end up having to cancel some classes, or end up with the same professor again and again. Also the subjects schedule is not updated to meet modern market demands. Campus is kind of ugly, missing opportunities for students. Some professors are very experienced and great in teaching though, and you can gain in depth knowledge in core engineering subjects.

The level of the university teachers and classes in general is quite high. There are multiple activities and possibilities except for the lectures and in total, the experience to be in this university is great!

Aristotle University of Thessaloniki has many faculties for different fields of science, humanistic studies, languages, medicine, etc. It lacks in organisation and sometimes it creates problems with bureaucracy, but it is still a place where you can find an adequate education level and ways to express yourself. The most problematic fact is that there are no programmes in English for exchange students.

It is a good enough institute and most of our professors are decent. However we have a lack of laboratories, stuff, new and young personnel. Our facilities need better care and a bit more modern equipment.
