I was in the Architect Engineering field, so my study took almost all of my time. I had 3 hours everyday to relax and some weekends. My professors, 60% were good and helpful, and others were just unbearable or not co-operatable at all. I can’t say i had a campus life, but the building did provide a cafeteria (that you have to pay every time your sandwich or water/coffee) and outside of the building around 5 mins away there was a building that served food for students free. The classes where interesting and my favourite was when my professors invited someone to give us a lecture on a specific thing.
View moreAristotle University OF Thessaloniki or AUTH, is located at the center of the town. That makes it easily accessible for all students from multiple neighborhoods of Thessaloniki as most of the buses stop by the Campus area. AUTH and universities in Greece unfortunately have student political parties which are influenced by Greece’s political parties which leads to them impairing the working capacity of the university and most of the departments. For example, you would have students of various political parties occupying whole departments and prohibiting lectures, just so they can push their agendas.
View moreThe university could be more organized. Professors could be more comprehensible to their students. The campus is really dangerous especially at night because there are plenty of criminal guys out of the school.
View moreMy university teachers are very friendly and willing to help us. They understand students’ needs and respect their perspective on the study topic. The courses are very interesting and built on the students’ knowledge level. They promote innovation and critical thinking. The atmosphere is friendly.
