It is a privilege to study maths in NKUA of Greece because of the high level of knowledge you get from experienced and well-educated professors. Also, the organization of the mathematics department is good and you can find a lot of useful notes on the platform “e-class. Unfortunately, all the buildings of the campus are old and not clean enough. The only exception is the library which is an ideal place to study as it is clean, quiet and has a huge variety of books and computers. Some other problems with the campus are that there are few old sports facilities and although it locates in a beautiful place near the mountain of Ymittos it takes a lot of time to go if you don’t have a car. The last and most important problem I want to refer to is the fact that many times a few students in an attempt to protest, lock the building and the courses stop for one, two or more days.
