The American College of Greece is one of the best and largest American universities in Greece. The University provides the best education as well as a great experience for diverse students. Additionally, the University also provides great facilities such as labs, library, auditorium, basketball court, soccer field and many more. Moreover, the professors are well-experienced and knowledgeable about the course. Overall, I would highly recommend the University to prospective students.

It’s great how professors try to make you learn and to start loving studying. It provides numerous opportunities concerning student life ( from clubs to outdoor activities, elections within clubs, new teams etc) I love how facilities make you want to participate in sports or to go studying. Advisors are there for you any time you help. Lastly, the evaluation process of professors counts to my overall image of the college!

The location and facilities were amazing and the fact that you felt that you were outside of the city centre. The teachers were good and most of them cared about you and liked what they were doing. One thing I would change is the ability to have a variety of different hours to choose from when you are selecting a course

The programs and the opportunities are plenty, and most of the facilitators are great! Deree allows each student to expand their knowledge as an academic student. The well-established programs and facilitators in the business field, from my experience, are motivational.

All the courses were very interesting and focus on the most important aspects of the major. Overall the programs are very well-organized and the school offers you a wide variety of majors and minors.

I enjoyed being part of the Deree family. Every sector in our university gave each and every one of us the possibility to reach or even surpass our potential selves. I enjoyed having conversations with colleagues, professors and staff members. I’ll never forget all the good moments and memories that shaped me.

In my experience these past years studying at the American College of Greece, the facilities are great, the professors overall can be great and helpful with a few exceptions, and the other students are mostly friendly and it’s nice to be able to meet people from other countries and learn about there cultures. There are a lot of extra-curriculum activities that someone can do for free if there is time in their schedule and a lot of lectures and seminars are also given for free for people to attend. There is a problem with the transportation since the campus is far from the metro and sometimes the busses can be late and lastly even though there are options for food and beverages there are a little bit expensive. Overall it is a great university that gives its student a lot of opportunities to learn, meet new people, start new hobbies and also travel to new locations.

Purchasing minor studies in the ACG, I could say it really helps you to develop your career path, it gives numerous opportunities to communicate with professionals in your field, and offers remarkable advice by its career counsellors. Overall it is really well-connected with the work market! The student life is enriched by interactive activities, clubs and societies of any interest!

Starting from the general and moving on to the specific I will have to mention some things about the American college of Greece. The College is an excellent institute, perhaps the best in Greece in terms of organization and efficiency. A college that offers you as important supplies of education and professional orientation as a huge amount of sports activities as well as cultural activities.
Approximately 90% of the professors hold a doctorate and most of them participate in research and publication of important articles. In my five years of studying, I did not encounter anything negative that I could mention. Student life in college beyond classes can offer you everything you need such as sports, excursions, activities, cultural activities, travel, and more. Regarding professional aspects, I consider that the college is one of the most recognized in Greece but also in the world, with the result that a degree from The American College of Greece is considered very valuable in a CV. Speaking from personal experience, I found a full-time job in my field a year and a half before I completed my studies, and that says a lot. Speaking of my field and moving on to more specific, the sports management major I studied is a relatively new program for the college and at the same time very promising one. The courses that are given are excellent as well as the teachers who deliver them and cover a huge range of sports management in the workplace. Overall, I would highly recommend anyone to study at the American College of Greece and try to take advantage of every opportunity the college gives him.

The program was a good introduction, however I think it was very focused on hospitality and did not elaborate more on the general tourism industry which I was more interested in. The program should have paths for the student to choose.
