American College of Thessaloniki - ACT (reviews)

I graduated in the year 2003, and those four years at ACT, for me were a great life and educational experience, excellent professors, staff, facilities. I’m sure, now, 15 years later it is even more developed… I highly recommend 🙂

Studying at ACT has been a blessing. I had the chance to develop not only as a student but as a professional as well as deadlines, punctuality, teamwork and critical thinking were necessary in order to complete my studies. I had the chance to study in a beautiful environment, providing all necessary facilities and technologies, with exceptional academics and at the same time enjoying socializing with fellow students. Education is not only about learning, it as also about developing as a person and consequently as a professional, in that sense, I strongly recommend studying at ACT.

Being a student at ACT was a unique experience and one that will always stay in my heart! The 45-acre campus offers almost everything; natural beauty, The Bissell Library, which holds one of the largest English language book collections in Greece, The Stavros Niarchos Center which gives access to students to all the latest tools in information technology and modern sports facilities. I loved studying at ACT because the environment was multicultural and diverse, classroom sizes were small, we got to have professors from all over the world, and the most important…we were offered real-world problem-solving skills (presentations, hands-on-activities, team projects etc) and not only theoretical knowledge from books. When I graduated from ACT, I could only feel confident and ready to hit the job market because I have been totally prepared for that throughout my studies there! Another aspect that makes ACT really unique is that it is located in Thessaloniki, the most vibrant city of Greece!

ACT’s campus is a state of the art and throughout your studies, you feel like you are in the country. Access to college is easy both with your own car and public transportation. Classes and course curriculum exceeded my expectations by far engaging most of the time in real life projects. In fact, assignments had more the role of preparing you for your professional life rather than just to evaluate your performance. College library is among the best in Europe and really well equipped. There you can find both the resources as well as the publications needed to complete your assignments. If I ever had the chance to do it all over again I would definitely do so. ACT thank you for everything!
