Department of Physics

Studying Physics in the National Kapodistrian University of Athens was one of the worst experiences of my life. Its a soul sucking, life draining, cancerous cell of a department in an otherwise accredited and internationally recognized university. 95% of the professors are remarkably indifferent about the students, student development, research, politics of the department or any aspect you might think of regarding the operation of the department. They are unqualified sadistic soulless drones that care for nothing more other that holding the title of professor and getting paid their mere meager salary. Shame on all of the, shame on the department. Average graduation time is almost 7 years , greek law now dictates maximum time of study to be 6 years. Ill happily watch this piece of filth of a department crumble slowly. Students will lessen each year (they already have) and the minimum grade required to be accepted will drop to dirt low (already from 16.50/20.00 to 14.00/20.00). Your punishment will be that you will be forced to live in the reality you created.
