Student review [#8993] for Electrical Engineering and Computer Science
at Democritus University of Thrace

I will be entering my 4th year of studies this year, the year where you choose your expertise. So far the field of study it wasn’t as I expected and the University lacks the variety of choices the ECE field should have. The reason for that is the lack of professors, assistants, and equipment. Furthermore, the city of Xanthi is not one you can say is suited for student life. It only houses 5 faculties of engineering so the variety of students is limited as well as the internationality due to the location of Xanthi. On the pros side, I have to say that the facilities are quite impressive comparing to other Universities in Greece. To sum up, my experience hasn’t been the best and DUTH wouldn’t be my first option for studies.
