AUEB is a university with a big variety of courses in different fields of study. In most fields students have different types of courses to choose from but in my field (marketing) these options are limited and sometimes kind of old fashioned. I would like to see courses that are more practical for my future. For example, I would prefer something like “Creation of advertisements” instead of “Advertisement’s theory ” that I have at my current semester.
In regards to the professors, it’s really sad that most of them don’t care truly for our education. I am pretty sure that most of them are highly educated however their job is more like a chore to them rather something they enjoy doing. I know that part of that problem is the fact that they have a lot of students in different courses but still, I would like to see them more enthusiastic about what they do.
In conclusion, I believe that AUEB has big potential to become a great university and develop but at this point, I am a little bit disappointed.
