If you study in AUEB you are surely going to get a high academic knowledge, not only about your subject but with economics and business in general. However, most of the work and the studying has to be done by students themselves, since most of the courses and the way professors teach are not really up to date and student-friendly. But I have to say that there are a lot of professors that do care about the students and they want to teach in the best way possible. The most negative thing about AUEB is the conflicts between the police and a small group of students that take place on the campus and sometimes make the condition unpleasant. The facilities of the campus are not something impressive however there are a lot of student clubs that are well known for their achievements, even outside of the university. In AUEB you also have the chance to be a part of an Erasmus program and take a semester in another European university. Graduates from AUEB are recognised for their high academic status and can be easily absorbed in the Greek or international labour market. To sum up, graduating from AUEB is demanding but the knowledge you gain and the fact that you have a diploma from (if not the best) one of the best Economic and Business universities in Greece is going to open many doors in your future career.
