I enjoyed my time in the university immensely. I completed with a combined major degree in English and Political Science, and one of the things I am most grateful for was the push to work together on projects. This pushed me to build relationships that have survived past graduation. It also pushed me to be more confident and communicate better, both of which have really helped me.
Nevertheless, there were parts of the experience I did not like. I did not like that the school based the Final Grade Point Average (FGPA) on a calculation separate from the Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA). I did not like that the FGPA could take away from a student’s performance. However, my main issue was that students were not really aware of this. Students continue to find their CGPA on their online transcripts, only to find the change not long from graduation.
