Getting a decent residence on campus is mostly determined by one’s level of wealth, and network and on a first come first serve basis. A recent survey showed that only 30% of students fall in this category hence the remaining percentage have to scramble for the few remaining quality housing facilities because the student population is greater than the available housing amenities.
