The University of Cape Coast, UCC is located in the first capital of Ghana, Cape Coast, in the Central Region. The University is well vested in the most earnest interests of the students and it’s research staff. For this reason, it is the best university in Ghana and the entire West Africa. Also, it has been crowned the fourth best university in the whole of Africa.
It’s high academic standards is what actually makes me happy that I chose the University of Choice as my alma mater. Also, the university is situated near the Gulf of Guinea at the south border of Ghana. Whenever I feel worn out and don’t seem to know what to do, I take a stroll from campus to the sea to refresh myself. It’s such a wonderful feeling and a nice place to be.
Although a school with higher academic achievements, UCC lags behind in terms of infrastructure and recreational facilities. We have sporting sites but we lack main auditoria and recreational facilities such as a school restaurant and others. Also, one thing I dislike about the school is it’s merge in the community. The community is just within the borders of the school and it’s sometimes problematic for students.
However, in the face of these challenges, the University of Cape Coast, alias CapeVars, University of Competitive Choice is a culture indeed based on Choice. And I love being there.
