Student review [#23451] for Geology
at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology - KNUST

Geological Engineering was a very challenging course but with the help of our highly experienced teachers, it was made interesting and quite fluid. One bad thing was the fact that the course is a very practical course but our practicals were very few and we didn’t get to have first-hand experiences on the field that much. The School should invest more in acquiring equipment and organize a lot of out-of-class experiences to help students appreciate the course more.
Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology is environmentally friendly and welcoming. It has a lot of international students and we co-exist in harmony. Cultural diversity runs deep and we appreciate and accept every faculty member.
Career-wise, geological Engineering has limited spaces for employment. A lot of students are graduating and very few jobs are available.
But in all, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology is excellent and Geological Engineering is a challenging yet exciting program to offer and I’ll recommend KNUST for every student.
