I like everything about the school except how bulky the courses we study are which make it difficult to concentrate in all of them. Also how difficult it is to get a lecturer to assist you in some you need.

KNUST is definitely one of the best places to study in Ghana. The school has great infrastructure, good lecturers, and a solid system that keeps things organized from the shuttles to the way academic activities are run. Exams are taken very seriously here, which can feel tough sometimes, but it also pushes you to be disciplined and focused.
On the flip side, the strictness during exams can be stressful, and like any big university, there are moments when things could run more smoothly.
Overall, I believe KNUST provides quality education and a good environment for both learning and personal growth. In my opinion, the positives outweigh the negatives, and yes I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a university that truly prepares you for the future.

As a fourth-year student at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), I can confidently say that this institution has been a transformative experience for me. From the moment I stepped foot on campus, I knew it was Home….This is
something I cannot highlight enough; everything about the school makes you feel comfortable
enough to not be entirely intimidated in your first year, and yet,
highly stimulating, enough to push you past your limits.

Academics:
KNUST’s academic programs are
top-notch, with a strong emphasis on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). And the best part of it all is that even with a high concentration on STEM, the school has one of THE best business and law schools in the country. The
faculty is knowledgeable and supportive, with extremely qualified lecturers having field experience. The curriculum is designed to equip students with practical skills,
making us job-ready upon graduation. Most importantly, the departments are concentrated not only on producing good results, but mostly in building a strong passion for the discipline in their students.

Campus Life:
I can’t speak of the campus enough!. KNUST goes the whole mile for their campus!. The campus is vibrant, with a mix of modern and traditional architecture. They are highly “Green” focused, so you can find a lot of beautiful natural space EVERYWHERE. It is extremely convenient to find almost anything you want on campus, whether it’s food, stationery, banks or just atm machines, the gym, the mall, etc. There’s never a need to immediately move outside campus grounds, which can be very comforting for a first year student. Student organizations and clubs are plentiful, offering opportunities for personal growth, networking, and community engagement. The university’s location in Kumasi, Ghana’s cultural hub, provides
access to rich cultural experiences.

Facilities:
KNUST’s facilities are well-maintained, with state-of-the-art laboratories, libraries, and lecture halls. The university’s investment in digital infrastructure ensures students have access to online resources and tools.

Support Services:
The university offers various support services, including academic advising, counseling, and career guidance. I honestly believe the school is a hundred times more obsessed with support services than the students are. These services have been instrumental in helping so many students navigate their academic journey and personal life.

Challenges:
KNUST faces challenges, such as limited resources, especially when it comes to giving practical experience to Science fields who require the daily use of laboratories and their, agreeable, wonderfully expensive equipment. However, the university’s commitment to improvement is evident in its ongoing development projects.

Also, it can be quite frustrating to find out that items (especially food) on/near campus are considerably more expensive than they should be. But this wouldn’t be much of an issue if you learn to go to town (which becomes a mastered art by second semester of first year)

Recommendation:
I highly recommend KNUST to prospective students seeking a well-rounded education and healthy school-life balance. If you want to leave university able to look stress in the face and not be moved an inch, then this is the school for you.

KNUST is among the prestigious universities in Ghana, much associated with academic excellence, especially in the areas of science, technology, and engineering. The facilities are modern, including well-equipped laboratories, libraries, and lecture halls that will guarantee a good learning atmosphere. Campus life is very active and diverse in culture, hence offering different avenues for students to be developed through clubs, associations, and activities.

The thing with KNUST is that one can get annoyed with administrative delays, a high number of students in classrooms for some courses, and shortages in campus accommodation. However, with the commitment of most professors and real-world learning opportunities that the institution avails to its students, it is definitely worth the decision made.

In short, KNUST happens to be a great institution in a nutshell, with loving students for science, technology, and innovations. Generally, academic development outweighs the setbacks characterized by some lapses of challenges this institution has; hence, it makes the study option that becomes recommended for entry students.

it was a science and technology school. they had a wide science program and huge facilities for them. i enjoyed my time there because my lecturers were diligent and kind and the school was located in a serene environment. i was an international student but the home students were very accommodating.

This is an academically brilliant environment that provides a holistic and fun styled education. Its a very conducive place to nurture all kinds of talents and ambitions. Most of its students go on to further their studies

Generally, I would say that the school provides the right facilities for students to learn and practice. The library has an array of books and the hostel facilities are closer to the lecture halls. There is adequate supply of necessary amenities for students use.

The school is one of the best in the country. The school boasts of adequate infrastructure and quality education. The professors are very helpful and lectures are well organized. Given the nature and locations of the various facilities on campus, there are free transport services which takes students to the major Hotspots of the school.

The school is situated in the heart of Ashanti Region. The school’s facilities are adequate for sound learning but the major concern is about accommodation. With the student population increasing each year, accommodation is becoming a major problem for fresh students. The professors are good but not all of them are welcoming.
