The University of cape cape, UCC in Ghana is one of the best universities a student would ever want to pursue his or her education. The university has a conducive environment for learning. Their programs are well articulated, structured and top notch. For example, I read Bsc Biomedical Sciences which provides me with valuable skills in research and academia. I would highly recommend this university and this program to anyone interested to read.

When I started, I was not so happy because everything seems difficult. In the difficulty I discovered myself. UCC, will reveal your weakness and build you up and make you strong. Life after UCC, became very easy because it prepares you for the pressures outside. What I dislike about UCC, was not enough time to have fun because everyone is serious with their academics. I did enjoy my time there and never regret attending UCC.

The Biomedical Science program at the University of Cape Coast is an excellent foundation for anyone passionate about sciences and health sciences. The curriculum is robust, providing a comprehensive understanding of various disciplines, including biology, chemistry, physiology, and pathology. It equips students with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary for laboratory work and research. The program’s emphasis on laboratory techniques, data analysis, and scientific inquiry prepares graduates to excel in research and clinical settings.

The program is tailored to educate students to do reseach in differents fields. These field includes health, industries, education engineering etc. Students are trained to reseach into humans and diseases, gases and other compounds, scientific academic work in class etc. i would recommend the program to anyone

Forensics plays a major role in the determination of the outcome of a case in a criminal court of justice. However, developing nations have used this forensic science very little hence the university mounted several courses within the program to help students be able to apply science in solving cases in the criminal law court.

Biochemistry is a versatile branch of science which instils into its students a vivid understanding of the chemistry of life. It’s considered the center of living because it assembles all life sciences. Taking the program, biochemistry in UCC is a great opportunity to appreciate food science, human health and chemistry in one field. Generally, UCC really shapes, builds and grooms you for the future instilling into you the need for discipline and consistency in all your endeavours.

Training laboratory technology prepares one for all spheres of research which can be be carried out in the laboratory. This research includes laboratory work in the area of biology, physics and chemistry. The training encompasses research into human diseases, plant phytochemistry

Being an alumnus of this prestigious community provides confidence in excelling in my chosen field. In almost every industry, there are a great number of old students achieving great feats which inspires me to do more daily. Additionally, the support system helps reduce the risk of failure.

My unique experience about University of Cape Coast was “Quiz writing”. Lecturers and professors organize quizzes for students at the middle and end of the semester to fully prepare students for the academic year examination.

Another unique experience about University of Cape Coast was celebration of hall weeks every academic year. The halls engage in a long week celebration which I considered to be fun side of students life in the school.

As an institution, the university has proven itself worthy, severally and in diverse fields as a contributor of the progress of human resources and the development of the nation at large. Not to compare it with other universities, the University of Cape Coast stands out with the products they bring out each year. I really appreciate the zeal, passion and commitment with which the various activities are done on campus, both by faculties and the student body. The kind of discipline with which the institution seeks to groom its students for the outside world is awesome and likely that those who allow themselves to be directed do not find themselves struggling in their various scope of work after school. As a member of the sciences, I did expect the institution to have given us a more hands on practical sessions, exposing us to most practical areas, which wasn’t to my expectations. Also, more educational trips to centers and institutions with works in line of departmental vision needed to have been considered, giving students the way to be well abreast with the nature of outside the classroom and bridging the gap between the classroom and the working field, and positioning students well in fields where they can be readily useful. I will recommend it as an institution for good studies because I may say some of these concerns may have been worked on seeking for the good of the student.
