University of Cape Coast (UCC) is a great institution with an amazing program of studies. My program of study was practically oriented coupled with weekly presentations which built my presentation and public speaking skills. The field trip component of my program of study exposed me to a lot of agricultural-based industries in Ghana. The final year project work was designed such that, I got to put into practice the knowledge gained to solve a social issue in a rural community. UCC is a great and interesting place to be given its serene academic environment and its location along the coast.

The University of Cape Coast has a conducive environment that makes learning attractive. The lecturers are good and they give a lot of quizzes and assignments that help build the students. The University is well known as Ghana’s best with regard to academic excellence. Products of the University do well in the job market due to how they are trained to adapt to different working conditions.

University of Cape Coast (UCC) is the best school as far as academic orientation and prowess are concerned. UCC builds and trains you to become a holistic professional in your career. The lecturers have very good professional relations with students which facilitates openness on the part of students. The academic curriculum is rich with modules tailored to specific developmental themes in society. UCC is the best place for every student who desires to explore quality academic frontiers. I highly recommend UCC to every person out there.

The programme was tailored to solving some of the challenges rural farmers encounter in their farming activities. As a result, it equips students with the requisite knowledge and skills needed to become community development practitioners. To top it up, the six months supervised community development project enables students to put into practice what they have learnt by identifying a need in a community and then solving that need with the community members. To sum it all up, the outline and orientation of the program are geared towards the development of students holistically in all facets of Agricultural and community development.

The program was intensive, practical and enlightening. It included field trips prior to completion. Classes were held on campus including laboratory activities. The teachers are interactive and on time. They make students aware of career choices and give basics on the necessary requirements. UCC is a place to learn and explore. It is a school noted for academic excellence.
