ALL NATIONS UNIVERSITY aims at training the heart, minds and hands of its students. My experience with them was from 2007 to 2011. The school supports initiatives of students in the school. I joined two NGOs on campus and ANU supported with our initiatives to solve national and community issues in Ghana. The school helped one of the NGOs with finances, logistics and Human Resource in order to undertake community engagements to help solve the Bawku conflict in Ghana. This to me is a great experience which contributed to solving the Bawku crisis.
The school always encouraged us to work hard at whatever good work we were doing since we would be paid more for less work in future.
Dislikes
1. The school did not network itself with many companies in Ghana to help its students with employment opportunities like other private universities.
2. The school did not allow institutions within it to be autonomous.
3. The school was not able to retain most good lecturers during our time.
Despite the dislikes, I will recommend ANU to everyone all over the world because it does not just concentrate on our minds but also has compulsory programmes for the heart too.
