As a Social work student, Social work broadens the scope of thinking. Personally, Social work introduced me to the various aspects of the human society with snippets from the economy, the law et cetera. The University of Ghana offers students the chance to live together on campus with very different caliber of people while studying. Living with people from different walks of life throughout the semester taught me to be patient, tolerant and open minded. The classes taught me discipline as some classes begin as early as 7:30am. The professors have also taught me to wring out the best of my brain in all I do since being nurtured for the future is not all about having book knowledge but the ability if think critically. The highs and lows which are inevitable have taught me a lot about life in general and given me a firm base in preparation for future endeavors and adventures yet to be imbued.

The University of Ghana is a great school with a rich history and good programs. It’s known for its research and campus life. However, some classes can be big and resources might be limited. Overall, it’s a good place to learn and grow.I will recommend UG any day anytime.

The school has a good environment for students. The school isn’t noisy or known for chaos. The physical environment is always clean with dustbins around.
The rules of the school also challenges us to learn and behave well so that we won’t be expelled or suspended. Overall I’ll give it a 4/5 review.
The lecturers are always responsive and make sure to assist if we don’t understand anything.
The classrooms are also big enough to contain us.

University of Ghana is one of the best university in West-Africa. The university is universally liked by of its green environment and how connected each students are. The University campus is an accurate definition of what a community should be like. Academically, lecturers and professors have cordial relationships with the students which boosts the academic performance of the students. The university provides enough resources in the lecture halls, hostels and on campus to make campus life easier and learning materials accessible. The Balm Library, one of the best in Africa has a conducive environment for academic research and studies. University of Ghana is generally liked because of how accessible materials are to everyone regardless of gender, race, ability or disabilities. The university is not biased hence treats every individual with equity.

University of Ghana has built-in systems that helps students to easily navigate on their own, whether it is finding a location(lecture hall) or academic materials. It focuses on value when it comes to teaching and learning and very inclusive of students with disabilities.

ENOUGH CLASS SCHEDULES FOR ONE TO CHOOSE FROM.THIS PREVENTS CLASS CRASHING.IT ALSO GIVES STUDENTS THE OPPORTUNITY TO SELECT CLASS SESSIONS OR THE TIME THAT SUITS THEM.UNLIKE SOME ,THAT HAVE JUST ONE PERIOD OR TIME FOR LECTURES.

My time at the University of Ghana was both challenging and rewarding. I pursued a degree in Human Resource Management with Chinese, and I found the academic structure quite solid. The HR programme offered practical insights into the real-world workplace, and the Chinese language component was a unique addition that broadened my perspective and employability.

The professors were knowledgeable and approachable, especially those in the Business School. Some lecturers made complex topics easier to understand by linking theory to everyday situations. However, class sizes were sometimes large, and access to one-on-one support could be limited.

One of the things I truly appreciated was the diverse campus culture. There were always events, clubs, and opportunities to network. The Balme Library and the campus facilities were useful, although some areas like lecture halls and restrooms could benefit from renovation.

Overall, University of Ghana helped shape my professional and personal growth. I would recommend it to students who are self-motivated and willing to explore a balanced academic and social experience.

The university was a great experience for me , it helped me become more sociable and brought a sense of development to my character as an individual. The systems in place within the university are abit slow and the MIS website needs to be improved .

The school made study materials readily available for everyone. It also had zero tolerance for harassment and fostered growth in both school and social life.
The school welcomes students from all corners of the globe and ensures their safety. The university being a premier one has the vision to support the growth of students and self-growth to accommodate current trends in the educational setting. This makes me to solidify my love for the school.

My experience at the University of Ghana was incredibly enriching and transformative.

The University of Ghana provides a solid academic foundation and a vibrant campus life. The faculty is knowledgeable and supportive, and the diverse student body creates a rich cultural environment.

I particularly liked the comprehensive curriculum and the various extracurricular activities available, which helped me grow both academically and personally. However, I felt that some administrative processes could be more streamlined to improve efficiency.

Yes, I would highly recommend the University of Ghana to anyone looking for a well-rounded and impactful higher education experience. The opportunities for learning and personal growth are immense.
