View moreUniversity of Ghana is a premier university in Ghana located at the heart of the capital. It boasts a beautiful campus with several entry points and accommodation facilities for students (although these tend to be quite expensive). My degree is a double major, combining two courses: French and Linguistics. Class sizes varied between classes, but we’re generally at an acceptable level, although for some classes student to lecturer ratio made for little engagement. There are many opportunities to engage in extracurricular activities, with several student-led initiatives and events. I enjoyed my time at UG and made great lifelong friends.
