Ashesi is an amazing school. If you are looking for an African school that gives you the chance to meet students from all over the continent, share ideas with open-minded people and build a community. This is the school for you. Though it has a small campus size compared to other universities, you never truly feel like you have explored all the corners of the school because there is always a new spot to be found. It has a very serene environment, and the lecturers really care about you succeeding in your major. In all my life, these are some of the teachers who have the most passion for what they do. The school pride’s itself in producing ethical leaders, something that is becoming a huge challenge in the Ghanaian culture, and it’s one of the things I love most about it. However, the university is far from perfect. There are a lot of things that can be improved, like the engineering curriculum, which keeps changing every few years due to many reasons, there is a low diversity of meals as well, and foreign students are forced to adapt to the Ghanaian cuisine and limit themselves to the one or two meals that they find tasty. Like any other institution, it has its good and bad sides. However, I would not trade anything for the experiences I have had, the people I have met and the person I am becoming because of Ashesi. It would be amazing to have you join us on campus.

As a freshman in Ashesi, it is quite difficult to catch up with the school’s curriculum, especially if you’ve not been exposed to international standards for studies. As a result, the great support system called the buddy program helps freshmen like myself to adjust and feel at home.

Living up on the hills is one of the most amazing experiences ever. It is an ideal place to study, relax and be productive. It is one of the best things about this university besides its amazing curriculum and committed staff. I am truly having a lovely experience here. I hope that they expand on the number of programs offered as I know many more people who would have loved to take part in this experience.

I am a current student who is studying business administration. Ashesi university is a very unique institution that offers a number of programmes. Students in the school embraces cultural diversity which makes international students feel welcome. There are a number of classroom blocks that is able to accommodate many students at a time. The school continues to welcome everyone who is willing to have a wonderful and amazing experience!

The computer science programme is one that is very interactive, there’s a lot of hands on learning and collaboration. The teachers are excellent in breaking concepts down for easy understanding.
The location is serene but it’s quite difficult to reach because of the road.

Its such a good school to make connections and learn beyond the average Ghanaian syllabus. It has opened my eyes to so many things, and has instilled many values within me. Its a bit secluded, but the comminuty is top-notch

Ashesi University offers a great practical learning experience. Students are given the chance to apply what they’ve studied by embarking on projects which involve using concepts learned to solve problems. Students can develop holistically thanks to the numerous opportunities available outside the classroom. The Ashesi TEDx program enables students to develop their communication skills. The Ashesi Premier League provides a platform for students to showcase and improve on their abilities on the football pitch. Undoubtedly, Ashesi University’s style of education is the perfect recipe for producing well-rounded individuals capable of solving problems in their communities.

The type of exposure the school gives you is tremendous! It has allowed me to meet so many people and to learn so many things. More than anything, it has instilled so many values within me. im so grateful for it.
