Pursuing my PhD at the University of Rostock has been a deeply enriching and transformative experience. The university offers a supportive academic environment, with access to excellent research facilities and knowledgeable faculty. I appreciated the interdisciplinary collaboration opportunities, which broadened my academic perspective. The supervision I received was both challenging and encouraging, pushing me to grow as an independent researcher. Administrative processes were generally smooth, although at times bureaucratic hurdles slowed progress. The campus is well-equipped and situated in a charming city that provides a peaceful backdrop for study. I also found the university’s international outlook and diverse student body to be a great advantage. Participating in conferences and workshops organized by the university significantly enhanced my academic network. While the workload was demanding, it prepared me well for a career in academia or industry. Overall, my time at the University of Rostock has laid a strong foundation for my future endeavors.
