The University of Konstanz is located on the shore of Lake Constance and was founded in 1966. The main campus was opened in 1972 in Giebberg, Germany. It has been successful in three funding lines of Excellence Initiative in 2007 and in 2012, which considered as one of the elite universities in Germany.
The university has almost 12,000 students with international students from 100 countries worldwide and 220 European partner universities which facilitate various exchange programs and global networking. It is continuously expanding the university’s visibility and excellence in research and teaching internationally.
