Engineering sciences is a degree with 210 Credits, that aims to introduce students to a broad field of engineering disciplines. It nonetheless is 3 years in principle, which roughly only 10% of the students manage to pull off. You can choose your specialisation in the last year / last two semesters of your study, where you have essentially free choice from almost all engineering/science-oriented courses of TUM.
It is a challenging course in its intensity, the third semester for example packed with so many (complex) courses in it, that you essentially learn thermodynamics in half the time other engineering courses do because it has to share its time slot with a different course, namely mechanics. The timetables are quite full as a consequence, and since the courses touch all the engineering fields, it is bound to pose a challenge for you sooner or later, by sheer virtue of a field not being your piece of cake.
I nonetheless really like the program, it is highly respected and opens gates to any master you desire and future opportunities. The professors picked are incredibly competent, and are some of the most valued even within TUM. The faculty (MSE-Munich School of Engineering) is also incredibly social and together sticking. They organise a lot of events and parties, which are more than sufficient to have a decent time with your classmates.
