My experience at the Technical University of Dortmund has been both academically rewarding and personally enriching. The university offers a solid balance of theory and practice, with professors who are approachable and supportive. The international environment makes it easy to connect with students from different cultures, which greatly enhanced my overall learning experience.
The campus is well-equipped with modern facilities, and the library and study areas are particularly helpful for research and group work. I also appreciated the wide variety of student organizations and events, which made campus life more dynamic and engaging.
On the downside, some administrative processes can be slow, especially for international students, but with patience and persistence, things eventually work out.
Overall, I would highly recommend TU Dortmund to anyone looking for a strong academic program, diverse community, and plenty of opportunities to grow both academically and socially.

The General Student Committee (ASTA) represents student interests, organizes events, and provides support services, enhancing campus life and fostering a sense of belonging. The hanging train (Hbahn) connecting the south and north campuses, along with the technology center, offers practical transportation while enhancing the campus’s aesthetic appeal. The campus’s accessibility and openness, coupled with convenient public transport and ample parking space, promote community engagement and participation in academic and extracurricular activities.

I was here for erasmus program. The whole people involved in the exchange was very nice and helpful. They gave the best experience for me when I was there. They told me to not be too nice and complain if anything bad happened to me, I did not do that but my buddy program understood her task and immediately tell the International Office. Wonderful experience!! The classes provided was also eye-opening especially coming from a third world country.

I think it´s a really good University. They always helped me with problems and I also really like the campus. There is a huge library where you can study and also the cafeteria has a lot of offers. I can recommend it.
