I really like the Materials Engineering program at RWTH Aachen University because it is well-structured and combines strong theoretical knowledge with practical applications. I was especially impressed by the excellent research environment, including the Institute of Physical Metallurgy and Metal Physics (IMM) and the Institute of Metallurgy (IME), where students can engage in advanced materials research. The university also provides very helpful support for international students, offering guidance with accommodation, visa procedures, and settling into life in Germany. In addition, the strong connections between RWTH Aachen and industry create excellent opportunities for internships, HiWi positions, and future careers. Overall, I highly recommend the Materials Engineering program at RWTH Aachen to students who are looking for outstanding research facilities, and a supportive international environment.
