Academics at OPS

MBA in part-time or full-time

The OPS offers special customized MBA programs. Both tracks are offered in intensive and part-time modes:

1) MBA Business Background is an MBA program designed for applicants with educational background in management or business related studies.

2) MBA Non-Business Background is an MBA program designed for applicants with educational background in non-management related studies, e.g. IT, architecture, engineering etc.

During the MBA, students acquire professional and practical management skills in international business. All modules can be taken flexibly alongside the job. The intensive study program includes lectures five evenings a week. The part-time version extends over three evenings per week. This enables all working students to obtain a generalist education for a position in international management without having to interrupt professional activity.

The mission is to provide more than just a theoretical study. Especially in Management, there is a reasonable requirement of practical experience and soft skills. Therefore, the Business School offers a perfect balance between the theoretical lectures and practical orientated exercises.

OHM Professional School (OPS) is situated in the heart of Nuremberg, next to the Pegnitz River. This is a pleasant green area of Nuremberg, not far from the lively city centre. Nuremberg is a lively city of half a million inhabitants and nearly 1000 years of history in the centre of Europe. It’s the economic and cultural centre of Northern Bavaria with a flair of innovation and science. Nuremberg is the second-largest Bavarian city and fourteenth-largest municipality in Germany.

Students will benefit from an extensive company network, which includes companies known worldwide such as Deutsche Bank, Siemens, Adidas, Puma, Staedtler, Audi and BMW. The full-time teaching staff has both excellent academic and professional credentials, and the part-time lecturers hold top managerial positions in major international companies.

The Career Service of Nuremberg Tech is a service facility for students, which emphasizes your career already during your studies. It supports students in developing their career and serve as a connection between the companies and the students.

While studying at the OHM Professional School, students received a top-class education and formed a lifelong network. After the graduation, they are heavily involved in their working life, whether it is logistics, purchasing, management or consulting. However, they would like to stay in touch with the professors of the OHM Professional School and especially do not want to lose track of your fellow students.

Thanks to a lot of dedicated work by alumni, professors and students, the OPS has established platforms for the master courses and the certified courses to maintain and foster the existing network.
