The Munich University for Applied Sciences was founded by the unity of seven colleges of technology and higher education in 1971. It is the second largest university of Applied Sciences in Bavaria. Students are close to 18,000 and counting. The university offers 2 diplomas, 31 bachelor and 26 master’s degree programs. The university unites with around 200 universities in Europe, North and South America and Asia. They also have strategic partnership with the following institutions:

• DECAMP- Open Distributed European Virtual CAMPus on ICT security
• TAMK - Tampere University of Applied Sciences
• INUAS - International Network of Universities of Applied Sciences
