1) What I Liked:

Leipzig University is a place that is open to students from all over the world. Covering a wide range of studies, anyone can find a career to pursue, and most importantly, find a place to grow both academically and emotionally. Each faculty offers their own services, making the interactions more personal and direct, which helps you feel more comfortable and confident.

The IPSP (International Physics Studies Program) offers a 3-years full physics course that allows you to continue speciliasing into any science-related master degree that students would like to access, which sounds like a pretty promising start. Though, the course lacks of many things… But let’s start with listing the pros:
-wide subject offer within topics of physics
-international environment
-good problem solving capacities development
-laboratory courses
-open physics rooms (homework help)

These were indeed the reasons that convinced me enrolling in the program. During the course I discovered, though, important deficiencies such as:
-poor organization within the study office
-unmotivated teachers
-language deficiencies from teachers and study office
-no care towards the students from teachers and study office
-poor organization with schedules, enrolments, exams…

Therefore, I think that my experience was quite mediocre and could have had been a lot better if they just started to care a bit more about the students’ needs!
