The Hertie School of Governance is a university for the students who wants to pursue a Master of Public Policy or Master of International Affairs degree and Executive Masters of Public Administration. It is a private German university that has the right to confer doctoral degrees in Berlin’s Friedrichstrabe. The working language is English and most of the students came from abroad.
The Hertie School has 30 academic partners worldwide, in London, Paris, New York, Tokyo and more. It is awarded with a full accreditation as a university for another 10 years. It was awarded state recognition of higher learning as an institution in 2005.
The Hertie School have five strong faculties as their backbone, namely:
• The Faculty of Law
• The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences
• The Medical Faculty
• The Philosophical Faculty
• The Faculty of Economics
