I enjoyed my time at the KLU. The staff and my fellow students at that were great. I got to make lasting friendships and connections during my 2 years there. One thing I really appreciate is the networking opportunities that the KLU provides. So for all those who want to meet and talk to industry leaders and Supply Chain Experts, I’d highly recommend it.
View moreI highly recommend KLU. The sense of community is inspiring and motivating. and the support is honestly and amazing.
The professors are all professional, highly knowledgeable, amazing teachers and easy to talk to.
People usually tend to look at the university in a different way once I tell them it’s private. And they’re completely misunderstood. I’ve had the best two years of my life and grown mentally and professionally studying at KLU. The quality of professors at KLU assures you that you’re mentored by known and respected professors in the academic world, and that’s even something to brag about. But being all academic for a university is not always good, and KLU has avoided doing that through their all-year-round events like Oscars, Welcome Back, Casino Night, etc. I wasn’t happy at first that KLU had only academic clubs such as Advisupply, etc., but I’m happy now that it isn’t the case and we’ve got more people starting their own, for instance, the photography club (which went dead after a few weeks, lmao, but hey, it’s a start).
Although I wasn’t satisfied with the course structure at one point. If not mentioned already, I graduated from the Master in Supply Chain program this year, and we had a course, “Sourcing and Procurement,” in our 2nd/3rd semester as an elective course. I wasn’t happy to hear this because topics like procurement are core to supply chain, and people shouldn’t have to choose between that and other courses — it should be made a core subject. Other than this, my learning experience was amazing. Shoutout to the student services and other staff for being such an amazing, friendly, and helpful group of people — always helping us students out and providing quick and concise replies/feedback/answers. People don’t realize how important and helpful it is for students like us to have a voice we can talk to and get the information we need. I’ve seen other universities where the staff takes weeks to reply and answer back, and I’ve seen students frustrated with it. So yeah, shoutout to y’all.
The campus life is amazing. Being in the heart of the city, next to the Elbe, always subconsciously makes you feel like you belong in this city and you’re someone important. The one thing I wish we could improve on campus would be a cheaper and better food hall. But otherwise, the campus is nothing like other universities and exceeds everyone’s expectations.
View moreThe University is a good place to learn about the logistics field and is up to date with supply chain management field. Guest lecturers are from the top of the field and provides a good opportunity for students to network with professionals. Would recommend this course. Favourite subjects were Humanitarian logistics and LOB.
Professors and staff help you out in most situations.
The size of the university creates a casual learning environment. This allows for more focused classes and provides the opportunity to talk with professors who are happy to help you kick-start your career.
View moreVery good professors. Very good infrastructure and care about the students.
Good networking oportunities and different kinds of events. Very international environment with people from all over the world.
The University is okay and the team are great. The environment is super conducive and a perfect learning strategy that builds the confidence in students.
Professors are good and knowledgeable BUT more electives will be advisable for student that don’t have background in Engineering to feel more comfortable and confident.
View moreThis university feels like a community and almost second home, and feels like a place of belonging- specially for the numerous international students that are in a cohort at any given point. This is only possible because of the management, staff and faculty – which make themselves so approachable. The management of the university is great and you can feel it from how organised everything is. That definitely obviously makes it a great ‘Management’ school. The professors are so experienced in their own fields and create a great learning environment and encourage critical thinking by ensuring class participation even from the most introverted students. I can’t say emotionally go good things about this university, I’m grateful to be an alumni from this university and would 100% recommend to anyone who is keen on learning and really growing. Go KLU!❤️
View moreNearly students at the University are quite diligent in their attempts to succeed. On every project, team members are quite collaborative and do not hesitate in initiating a healthy discussion. The study rooms are also quite peaceful and help induce a deep focus work session.
View moreMy experience at KLU has been largely positive. One of the highlights of studying here is the opportunity to meet and collaborate with international students from diverse backgrounds, creating a truly global learning environment. The classes are engaging, and I particularly appreciated the use of case studies that connect theory with real-world business challenges.
That said, there are a few areas that could be improved. Some courses would benefit from more structure and clearer organization, and certain professors could make their explanations simpler to ensure all students can fully understand the material. Additionally, the university could do a better job supporting students in finding internships and job opportunities, especially within the German job market, which can be challenging for international students to navigate.
Overall, KLU offers a dynamic and multicultural academic experience, but with more structured teaching and stronger career support, it could become even better.
