The best college with good teachers and good staff. The teachers are pretty good and are approachable. The class schedule is flexible and the professor even helps you with the internships. I would recommend IU to those who are looking for a course in business or management.

I am a first semester student of master of international management at IUBH, Bad Honnef. I have been pleasantly surprised by IUBH from the get go. This university is one of the few unique universities in Germany that offers courses 100% in English. All the managers and office clerks are also fluent in English.
In addition, IUBH offers German language classes for International students who want to have a deeper understanding of German culture and language. These classes are free of charge and are taught semi-privately (around 5-10 students in each class).
Furthermore, I love how open-minded IUBH and its managers are; I come from an engineering background and there were almost no universities who would accept my passion of learning both engineering (bachelor) and management (master). However, IUBH accepted my background wholeheartedly and offered me a one semester course for non-business graduates, called Path2Master. Although this course was full of new information about business, finance, leadership, and management, I enjoyed every second of it. As courses were mostly based on case studies and role plays, everything was easy to understand and even easier to remember for finals.
The courses in IUBH are extremely well-organized. All the subjects in each semester are interrelated and are basis of next semester’s courses. In addition, all the professors are international or locals that come from an international background. All the professors have professional work experience in an international environment and are extremely focused on providing students with job-oriented courses; which would make it easier for students’ future career paths. Furthermore, professors call students on a first name basis and actively try to memorize their names at the start of each semester. All these make the atmosphere of the class comfortable and students are able to join the class discussions and express their opinions freely.
The next point that fascinates me is how diverse IUBH is. Students come from many countries with different cultural backgrounds (e.g. Germany, United States, Pakistan, Russia, South Korea, Ukraine, Austria, Spain, Iran, Taiwan, Romania, Thailand, Egypt, Australia, India, Azerbaijan, Armenia, etc.). There are around 15 students in each class, the atmosphere is friendly and students feel like members of a big family. Moreover, availability of different clubs and social practices (wine club, sport club, etc.) makes it easy for students from different courses and study programs to get to know each other and become friends. Also, at the start of each semester, new students are assigned to senior students, known as “greeters”, to welcome the students, become their mentors and help them with a smooth start with all the German official applications (e.g. opening a bank/blocked account, purchasing a sim card and verifying it, applying for a residence permit, etc.).
Furthermore, there are two main restaurants (Mensa and Anno) in the university that allows students and professors to enjoy a short lunch-break over a high-quality soulful meal. There are also other facilities on campus which provide a relaxing time for everyone, Dallmayr Café and Charly’s Lounge, which is a student bar. IUBH also provides accommodations for German and international students. Private rooms are fully furnished and kitchen and washroom are to be shared with one or two other students. Rooms are well-lit, cozy and modern. And kitchen is equipped with new crockery and cookware. A few individual suits are also available at a higher price.
IUBH managers also care about the students’ future. There are career fairs/days organized each semester to help students look for jobs and internships and career officers help students to improve their CVs and cover letters.
Moreover, I believe that the officers in international admission office have played a huge role in my university and visa application process and its success. Their instructions were detailed, step-by-step, based on facts and individual experiences. I believe that the free visa preparatory interview session was a huge help in success of my real visa interview in the embassy.
All in all, in the past two semesters I have had the best time of my life and I sincerely felt at home. I also believe that anyone who appreciates a friendly, calm, safe, beautiful, and multi-cultural environment and a high reputation degree, should definitely apply to IUBH.

Its a great opportunity to everyone someone who wants to upgrad himself during his job continues.
The teachers are excellent and the courses are quite current, however, some of them could be a little more engaging in class. Amazing experience all around. It is simpler to comprehend and remember the units being taught thanks to the transfer job at the end of each lesson. Anyone seeking the best education a university has to offer should consider IU International University, in my opinion. Excited to join the campus this October.
View moreI chose this university because I found exactly what I wanted to study. My program is M.A in International Management in which overall topics are covered related to the international business market. I found IU interesting as they do offer good courses and it’s not highly expensive. Yeah, the university is a good infrastructure is new to the Berlin campus and well it’s all digital so this makes it easier and more interesting
to study at the university. Also, they have a kind of gaming in the reception which we can play in our free time. Also, there is a student learning room which is so peaceful and the best part of it is there are computers in the room through which we can take printouts. Professors are highly experienced and educated. The good part of them while teaching is they do give live examples through which it becomes easy to understand. Also, we can connect with them easily whenever we want and they do respond and clear out our questions. There is a dashboard given to every student in which all the activities and lectures are updated even all the professors related to our course are there on the same dashboard. Even the university conduct different types of seminars and meets with different kind of sectors which is very helpful to building up our career.
Overall it’s a good experience at this university and I would suggest surely once to look after its if you are planning to study in Germany.
