After changing degrees/universities twice, being at the RWTH feels like a true privilege. The city is the perfect size: not too small, not too big. There are constantly events going on and you can feel the generally open and liberal mindset very much. The university is more than excellent, but you never feel left alone or not takes care of. Opposed to other universities in Germany, the RWTH is putting a real effort into making you feel welcome and wants you to succeed. The people are friendly, and there is a significant international crowd here. It’s a cool experience to live at the border of two other countries. Really could not be happier.
